Sivai, Elli, Taj

We had a fun weekend with the Whitesels, Lance and Patrick spent their time fishing and hiking while Alicia and I entertained the kids. On Saturday we took them to the dinosaur museum and then let them play at the park for while. My kids enjoyed having some new friends to play with and I really enjoyed having the company.

Growing up too fast

So the day has come that Lily has learned to scoot/army crawl. She's been working on it for a while, but she would just end up rolling. I guess the thoughts of chewing on a cardboard book was motivation to get going. I can't believe she's nearly 6 months!!!

Many Talents

Patrick has been busy preparing all winter for this spring and summer. He can't wait for it to be fly fishing season again! A couple of years ago he picked up the hobby of fly tying to support his hobby of fishing. It's a lot more cost effective and he's become really good at it. All during this years spring general conference he tied and he can't wait for this weekend. Our friends Lance and Alicia are coming up to go fishing, lets cross our fingers that the weather is nice.

This is a picture of a couple of the flies he just completed, I wish the quality was a little better so all the details were more clear.

Daddy's Little Girl

When I get baptized

At the dinner table tonight Sivai told me that he wanted to be a member of the church, but did not want this head to go under the water when he got baptized. I told him not to worry about it because he wouldn't get baptized for a couple of years. He replied, okay, but be sure to tell Dad that I don't want my head to go under the water. Too Cute.

Happy Birthday Sivai!!!

We had a fun Birthday party for Sivai last night. He patiently waited all day for cake, ice cream and presents and I think he had a fun day. We all put party hats on and Austin helped Sivai rip into his presents. I had him open his clothes presents first and after a couple he looked and me and said " Am I only getting clothes for my birthday?" He didn't of course. We got him a new "real" fishing pole, new books for his leappad and a camping chair. Now we have to wait until it gets warm to go fishing and try everything out.

A day at the Lake

Again at the lake cheesin it!

Family Picture in Oct 06

Keep on cheesin it up

Sivai's joke of the day

While I was feeding Lily Austin tried to feed her milk from his cup. I told him that she can't have cows milk. Sivai, who was observing all of this, asked is cows have a chest and I said no, they have udders. Sivai said, "Cow's have udders for milk and udder things."
He loves discovering word plays and I'm sure this won't be his last. He attended the kindergarten pre-screening yesterday, yes he turns 5 this Friday!!!, and did a great job "scoring" above average on 6/7 tests. He didn't seem to impressed by the whole process, but was completely bummed out when we couldn't have lunch in the cafeteria with all the other kids.

So Patrick said I should start a blog...

I thought I would try this out. I have dial up, so I'm not sure how quick it's going to be. Patrick and I have 3 kids, Sivai who will be 5 this week, Austin who is 2.5 and Lily 5 months. We live in Vernal where Patrick works for JJS as a caseworker and I have a VERY small business out of my home making baby items.
